Ski goggles

How to Take Care of Your Goggles

Good goggles deserve proper care. HØKEN goggles are built for long days in the mountains, changing weather, cold, and sunlight, but a little attention keeps them performing season after season.

CLEANING THE LENSES

The lens is sensitive and should only be cleaned with the included cleaning cloth or goggle bag or any clean microfibre cloth.

To clean, gently wipe only the exterior using water free from additives or mild liquid soap under lukewarm running water. Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, or alcohol, as these can damage the protective coatings. Pat the lenses dry with a soft cloth. Let the goggles air-dry naturally to preserve their quality.

INTERIOR CARE

Important: Do not touch the inside of the lens. The anti-fog coating is delicate and can be damaged easily. If cleaning is absolutely necessary, use a dedicated lens cloth and gently dab — never wipe.

If snow gets inside the goggles, resist the urge to wipe it away. Simply shake off the excess and let the goggles air-dry indoors at room temperature.

FRAME & STORAGE

Occasionally rinse the frame with mild soap and lukewarm water to remove sweat and dirt. Avoid direct heat or sunlight, which can affect elasticity over time.

Remove your goggles from your helmet when not in use — prolonged stretching can reduce the strap’s grip and elasticity. Always make sure they’re completely dry before storage. Keep them in the soft pouch provided to protect from dust and scratches, and store them at room temperature away from heat or direct sunlight.
